KELLY S. STREET

Kelly S. Street earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2008, where he won several awards for advocacy and academic achievement. Between 2008 and 2010, he clerked for the Honorable Roderick Kennedy at the New Mexico Court of Appeals, where he drafted appellate opinions on a variety of topics and was a contributing author of the legal treatise, Forensic Metrology: A Primer on Scientific Measurement for Lawyers, Judges, and Forensic Scientists (CRC Press, forthcoming Apr. 2011).

Mr. Street holds a Bachelor’s degree in creative writing from the University of Tennessee, where he was Distinguished Military Graduate for the graduating class of 2000, recipient of the John R. Daniels Army Ranger Scholarship, and a Shoney’s Corporation Bootstrap Scholar.

As an Army Captain, Mr. Street served five years on active duty between 2000 and 2005. His military awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and membership in the Order of the Spur, the Honorable Order of Saint Barbara, and the Military Order of the Tennessee Ranger.

Mr. Street is admitted to practice before all courts of the State of New Mexico, and his practice includes all aspects of civil litigation. He is a member of the New Mexico Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the American Legion, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States.
